Small Business Inventory Falls to Lowest Level Since May 2020

Last month, 13% of businesses reported reducing inventories, a net negative and the worst reading for that metric since May 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

According to NFIB, the proportion of businesses that have seen higher nominal sales over the past three months was down one point to a net negative 17%, the lowest reading this year.
