Assets in money market funds surged by more than $81 billion in October, pushing the category to all-time highs as the Federal Reserve has begun to cut rates. 

Retail investors have rushed into money market funds ever since the Federal Reserve initiated one of the most aggressive tightening cycles in decades back in 2022.
